Illumination
Ian helped put in a closet under our stairs a few weeks ago with Dad and I. What was supposed to be a few hours of work turned into an all-day tour de force of cleaning up Other People’s Messes. After we made the initial reconnaissance cut through the wall and stuck a flashlight in, we were surprised to find a pile of drywall scraps nearly five feet tall and stacked all the way back to the front of the house. Needless to say, both Far and I were quite amused by the amount of drywall dust we knew we were about to inhale as we pulled it all out onto the driveway. Three hours later, we had it swept out and ready for the door, which went in without a hitch.
Three weeks later, the drywall is still sitting in my driveway.
